::News::

Well my latest news is that I've been learning too many new graphics programs. I've really got to stop getting distracted by all these new things I'm discovering. I haven't been doing much art of lat and that seems to a trend thats going to stick for a while. The next few months are going to be nuts so I probably won't be posting much. Well that's all the news I have except for the latest on Wedding Plans down the bottom.

I'm going to try my hand at creating a comic series. It'll be sort of fan-fic, so if you want to understand it start reading Neal Asher books, the Ian cormac series. Until I'm really cofortable with it all I'm going to be keeping the story line along the same lines as the book Gridlinked. It will just be a very cut back version. I want it to be really good so don't expect to see anything about it for a while.

Strike that a comic is too hard. I'll just stick with artwork inspired by the book. This way I can allow my imagination to wander more.

Well after all the planning that has been taking place I finally have a ring to prove that we're engaged. He even went to the trouble of asking me properly even though we both just started planning a wedding without the actual question being asked. It was ver nice. Walking down the rivver front and he just asked the question and gave me the ring. It was very sweet. Then we went out for a very fancy dinner.

It was very funny actually. I'd just gotten my college marks back and I'd done a damn sight better than I thought so my parents said lets go out for dinner to celerbrate. I was thinking this is weird but hey who's gonna knock back a free meal and drinks. Friday rocks around and I star feeling really sick I go home from work early and go to bed half mentioning to cancel dinner until next week or whenever. About 5.30 mum come in wakes me up and tells me to get read cos dad has booked this reall nice place. So I'm all zombied so I just follow. Anyway we get to where the restaurant is supposed to be. Then we wander around in circles trying to find it. Dad supposedly call directory assist to get directions. As he's talking we run smack bang into my fiancee and his family. I'm slightly confused but I go with it cos I'm still a bit out of it. Then the restaurant call looking for us and we get directions. We were at the wrong end of the street. On our way to the restaurant our families scatter. Then he stops and just asks me. It was quite a conspiracy everyone in my family (including aunts, uncles and grand parents) were aware of it all.

So that was quite an essay but hey you did ask. lol.
